Ben also claimed the Jockey of the Day title, sponsored by CCIS, after an impressive performance of two winners, one second and one third from his six rides, earning him the $1,000 cash prize.

Away from the racing, attendees swung drinks around, shared many laughs over great food and embraced the Spring in Pink theme, bringing their best race-day outfits to the grounds. Lianne from Queens of Clothing judged the fashion competition, with the colourful looks giving spectators plenty to admire between races.
