Joining a swimming club offers school-aged children much more than the opportunity to improve their swimming. It helps young people build confidence and experience the excitement of being part of a team.
The Cannonvale Cannons Swimming Club welcomes swimmers of varying ages and abilities. Club Nights provide children with the opportunity to practice racing skills in a friendly and encouraging environment while working towards personal best times. Swimmers can experience different strokes and distances without the pressure of a major competition.

Regular participation also teaches valuable life skills, including perseverance, goal setting, commitment, and good sportsmanship. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves, celebrate the achievements of others and discover that success is not always about finishing first—it can be improving a time, mastering a new skill, or simply having the confidence to step onto the starting block.
For parents, Club Nights are a wonderful way to become part of a welcoming local community. Families can connect with others while supporting their children to remain active, make new friends and develop a lifelong enjoyment of swimming.
The Cannonvale Cannons will begin their Club Nights on Wednesday 2nd September at the Cannonvale Swim Centre. Warm-up will commence from 5pm, with racing starting at 6pm.
Whether your child is interested in competitive swimming or simply wants to improve, stay active and enjoy being part of a team, the Cannonvale Cannons would love to welcome your family.
