Pet Of The Week: Meet Troy!

Big ears, an even bigger smile and a whole lot of love to give – Troy is hoping his next adventure will be finding a family to call his own.

The one-year-old Husky x Kelpie is a playful, affectionate boy currently being fostered in through Bowen Collinsville Pet Rescue.

Troy loves his people and is great with children, making him a wonderful companion for a family looking to welcome a four-legged friend into their home. He also gets along well with other dogs and would love a doggy sibling to share his adventures with before settling down for a cuddle and a well-earned nap.

Treats are high on Troy’s list of favourite things, and he’s happy to show off his sitting skills to earn them. He also loves his rope toy and is eager to please, making him a quick learner as he continues to work on his lead manners.

Troy has also met cats and done well, although he’ll need some training and supervision around them.
