Proserpine Mill processed about 88,900 tonnes of cane for the week, which is the highest weekly throughput this year. Our season to date total is now more than 801,100 tonnes.
Average weekly CCS came in above budget, at 14.37 units. The highest weekly CCS sample for the week was 17.95 units, from a rake of Q183 ratoon cane in the Kelsey Creek productivity district.
We want to remind the public to always give way to cane trains and only cross the line at designated road crossings.
Remember that a fully loaded cane train can take up to one kilometre to pull up. Our cane trains work around the clock, seven days a week, so please continue to use your train brain and always take care around the cane rail network.
