This year’s QME Expo showcased the strength and innovation of the mining industry, attracting thousands of exhibitors, industry professionals and visitors to Mackay.
Federal Member for Dawson Andrew Willcox said the event was “the biggest mining exhibition in regional Australia” and highlighted its positive impact on the local community.
“Events like this are great for our community,” he said.
“I’m a big kid at heart when it comes to this sort of stuff. It’s great to see so many people out here enjoying the displays and machinery.”
