Revisioning Of Leonard Cohen Coming To The PEC

The classic legend of Leonard Cohen is reimagined in this star-studded musical biographical cabaret, coming to the Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC) this month.

Be transformed and transfixed by this fantastic and sensational seven-piece band, starring the magnificent Jonathan Anstock as Leonard Cohen himself.

Embodying the very iconic songs that pushed him into forever stardom and showcasing Leonard’s infamous life, ‘The Spirit of Leonard Cohen’ performance is intimately authentic.

Exploring the man behind ‘Hallelujah’, Jonathan and his band will travel through Leonard’s past, his poetry, song writing, spiritual journey, political motivations, depression, and the eventual passion and peace.

With beautiful renditions of Cohen’s classic ‘Suzanne’, ‘So Long Marianne’ and ‘Bird On A Wire’, Jonathan and his band will leave audiences wanting more.

Leonard Cohen rose to stardom in the 60s and 70s, with early success of his song ‘Suzanne’.
