The splash pad will be closed from Monday 24th August to Friday 18th September, with works aimed at extending the life of the facility and ensuring it remains safe and enjoyable for the community.
Maintenance will include resealing the splash pad surface and expansion joints, replacinga access pit lids, treating rust on the shade structure and removing debris from around the water tanks.
The facility will also receive a fresh new look, with family-oriented stencil artworks to be installed as part of the works.
While the splash pad itself will be unavailable, visitors will still be able to access the surrounding picnic tables, amenity blocks and playground equipment throughout the closure.
Council has thanked residents and visitors for their patience while the maintenance is undertaken and apologised for any inconvenience.
