The Anne Hird Memorial Trophy – 10th Aniversary Mackay Contract Bridge Club

The 10th anniversary of The Anne Hird Memorial Shield was played this Month with 18 Novices vying for the Trophy. Andrew Canavan being the 2026 winner. It’s an individual event and to be a contender, you cannot be a previous winner. The player has to be under 100 Masterpoints and play 3 sessions with 3 different ‘Overs’. David Hird presented the shield and ‘Beanies for Brain Cancer’ to Andrew and his 3 partners.
