With another great week of bowls in paradise, the wind caused havoc out on the green. It certainly keeps concentration levels up.

On Monday, self-selected triple winners were B. Thompson, J. Hallas, and R. Symmons, defeating M. Drummond, G. Read, and A. Rolfe. Runners-up were Gus Murry, D. Madeley, and R. Agg, who defeated E. Dunn, S. Smith, and D. Gorin. The jackpot didn’t go off.  

On Tuesday, Margaret Harvey, John Harding, Jeannie Detry, and Alan Detry defeated Denis Bright, Maureen Grogan, Les Jackson, and Ron Hyde. Runners-up went to Carol Bellingham, Skin Querro, and Patrick Cochrane, who defeated Greg McSwain, Alex Beaumont, and Robyn Crawford. The jackpot didn’t go off.

Fun Thursday winners were John Fusket, Gail Mallon, and Shirly Smith, who defeated Geoff Davis, Owen Swanton, and Brian Bellingham. Runners-up were Graham Smith, Rod Bk and Gary Crawford, who defeated Trevor Hawker, Viv Boskma, and Levina Davis, who also won the jackpot.  

Resting touches went to Franz Willman, Jill Gillies, Viv Ritchie, and Trevor Hawker.  

On Sunday afternoon our winners came out on Rink 5, and they were Skin Querro, Levina Davies, Gavin Charles, and Ron Symmons, who defeated Alby Vigar, Jocelyn Defranciscis, Jack Stamp, and Allan Gillies.

Runners-up were Greg Edwards, Col Parker, and Patrick Cochrane. The jackpot didn’t go off.
