Mackay Police have charged two people following investigations into a number of alleged drugs and weapons offences in Mackay late last week. Around 2pm on Friday, July 12, officers executed a search warrant at a River Street unit in Mackay, where they allegedly located several firearms, including three rifles, a handgun, a homemade firearm, a taser and several rounds of ammunition.
