The Botanic Gardens Turn 20!

The world is their oyster for a group which visited the Sarina Arts and Crafts Centre. The World Café group enjoyed a morning tea before viewing the centre’s crafts. It is a free culture-sharing group which meets every Tuesday at 4 George Street, Mackay (the Annex) between February and November from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Young Cutter Striving Towards Colts Debut

When Corben Becker received a call from a former coach late last year, he was ecstatic to receive the news. It was a coach he’d played for at Walkerston Wanderers, who also assistant coaches the Hastings Deering Colts Mackay Cutters, giving him the call up to join the squad. Corben has been training with the Mackay Cutters Under 21s squad and played one trial game, working hard to ensure a debut. “I’m just taking it all in,” Corben said.
