Free Dental Helps Prevent Tooth Decay In Children

More than 70 per cent of students visiting a school dental van in the Mackay region last year needed a filling because of tooth decay. Sugary foods and drinks combined with poor oral hygiene contributed to 4583 fillings being done by school dentists across the district.
