Hamilton Island Police have announced the release of a police issued buggy for use around Hamilton Island.Buggies are the only mode of transport permitted on the island, with private vehicles limited and motorcycles, mopeds and e-scooters banned. In recent years, there has been a number of critical accidents involving buggies on the island, resulting in major injuries and sadly one death.
