The Great Barrier Reef Festival marked 25 Years with a bang last weekend, transforming Airlie Beach into one big party as fireworks popped overhead.
Parades, markets, fun-days and concerts brought families, tourists, businesses and locals out in force to celebrate and advocate for the reef, whilst sea life-inspired art once again appeared in the fig trees across the foreshore.
