CQ Rescue marked 30 years of lifesaving service with a special HeliCore Collective evening at the BMA CQ Rescue hangar, bringing sponsors and supporters together for networking, connection and a behind-the-scenes look at the service they help make possible.
Guests heard from CQ Rescue CEO Tim Healee, BMA Caval Ridge General Manager Justin Doherty and Daly Bay Executive Manager Operations Glenn Anderson, before a special panel reflected on the organisation’s three-decade journey.
Dr Bert Sadleir, Dr Siva Sivanujan and Senior Base Air Crewman Darren Bobin shared personal experiences, stories and memories from CQ Rescue’s remarkable history and evolution.
BMA CQ Rescue marked a significant milestone on Wednesday 23rd September, bringing together HeliCore members, supporters and distinguished guests to celebrate 30 years of lifesaving service across the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac regions.
Held at the BMA CQ Rescue hangar in Mackay, the HeliCore Collective event provided an opportunity to reflect on three decades of emergency response and recognise the people, partnerships and community support that have helped shape the organisation’s journey.
Guests heard reflections and stories from BMA, CQ Rescue’s Naming Rights Partner, Daly Bay, HeliCore Presenting Partner, as well as current and former Board members and staff, highlighting the organisation’s history and the many people who have contributed to its work over the years.
The evening also gave HeliCore members and supporters an opportunity to connect and network while celebrating the impact of CQ Rescue’s 30 years of service to the region.
