Marian Ladies Bowls Club recently held its Marian Master 4’s, a popular bowling event that has been running for more than 20 years.

This year’s event was sponsored by Glen Kelly, who unfortunately was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

‍

On Monday, 64 ladies lined up to get the event underway, with the format consisting of three games played on the first day. The winners of each section of four then progressed through to the final day on Wednesday.

The final was played between the two winners of the morning’s games, with Kim Ellis, Val Pilcher, Robyn Deveraux and Karina Dunn taking the honours.

‍

The runners-up were Debbie Ellis, Sue Hunter, Betty Petersen and Charmayne Sleeman.

All games were played with great sportsmanship, with plenty of laughter shared on the green throughout the event.

‍

Marian Ladies Bowls Club greatly appreciates the sponsorship of Glen Kelly, with the club noting that as a small country club, the profit from the event helps to keep the wheels turning.
