Theme: Something Green.
When I think of something green, I picture freshly cut grass, towering trees and the leaves gently falling from their branches.
But this week’s winner, Shannon Faletti, decided to look a little closer, focusing her lens on a grasshopper sitting peacefully on a bromeliad leaf.
The grasshopper provides the perfect pop of green against the contrasting leaf, allowing the tiny visitor to command the frame. Shannon’s photo proves that sometimes, the smallest subjects can make the biggest impression.
Congratulations Shannon, your little grasshopper has leapt into the top spot!
