Where to start? Pickleball is Pickleball; a paddle, a wiffle, a court and, of course, add the people and on Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Thursday afternoon, Gerry and Gary were ecstatic when Stuart and Kate arrived for a stupendous game, quickly followed by Yoko, Sheridan, Amity, and Phoenix.
Saturday morning saw three tenacious people turn up for a very soft rally before they were chased off court by the rain.
This week the focus is on Pickleball burning calories.
A Pickleball game - depending on intensity - can burn between eight - 11 calories per minute.
Regular running burns about 11 calories per minute; so, yes, Pickleball is an effective substitute per minute of calorie burning to regular old running!
