The wheels are already turning for a group of Sarina State High School students, who have been getting a taste of the engineering industry through the Try Trade program at Mackay Engineering College.
Students recently visited Cummins and Autocorner, where they gained valuable hands-on experience in the automotive and mechanical sectors.
A representative from Sarina State High School praised the students' enthusiasm, strong work ethic and willingness to learn, while thanking the teams at Cummins and Autocorner for supporting the valuable industry experience.
“Opportunities like these help students explore future career pathways and develop practical skills that will benefit them well beyond the classroom,” the school stated.
