The Whitsunday Regional Council has approved an application for backpackers-style accommodation in Bowen. The proposed accommodation, previously used by Queensland Rail to house workers, is located on Pantall Stret in Bowen, and will primarily be utilised as short term accommodation for seasonal workers.
