Week one and two of three weeks play for the Novice Anne Hird Memorial Trophy have been played on Monday 8 August and Monday 15 August. This competition runs over three weeks, and each Novice draws a new over partner each week. Novices must play with three different partners to win the trophy.
Players will need to play well on the last day of competition, as Pamela Finger has played very well over the last two weeks and is in the lead, followed closely by Anne Lutz and Sandy Patterson.
