The past presidents’ men vs ladies day is on at Goosies on Monday afternoon, 12th September. You don’t have to be a past president to play, just a full bowls member. Organise a team of four men or four ladies and check out the notice on the notice board.
SOCIAL RESULTS
Monday mixed pairs winners were Glen Fahy and Peter Crawford, followed by Gloria Sam and Pam Louis. Rob Evans and Lurline Ford won the lucky draws.
Wednesday ladies’ day was taken out by Anne Bailey, Narelle Schmidtke and Carmel Bell. In second place were Jenny Grech, Jean Comelli and Daphne Offield.
Thursday mixed pairs: a winning day for Bruce McCubben and Ian McDonald with Jan Little and Paul Goldston in second spot. Greens vouchers were won by Shane Trannore and Andrew Coates.
Friday mixed pairs’ winners were Neil Blucher and John Priest. Lucky draw winners were Daphne Offield and Mary-Anne Bartolo followed by Jean Comelli and partner.
Saturday men’s day winning team was a triples team of Shane Trannore, Alex Cameron and Ian Rowan, with Tony Allsop and Doug Dungavell in second place.
