Unlocking The Doors At The Airlie Beach Hotel

Don’t miss a mesmerising afternoon with The Doors tribute act this weekend at The Pub, Airlie Beach Hotel.

Unlocking The Doors are a tribute band who are considered one of the most authentic and entertaining Australian tribute shows.

Through the bands heartfelt performances, the lead singer wants you to see how intoxicating and brilliant The Doors were on stage.

Unlocking The Doors set out to capture the shamanistic presence of Jim Morrison, the hypnotic bass lines and swirling keys of Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger’s legato blues inspired guitar modality and John Densmore eclectic fusion of Jazz, Rock and Latin drum beats for the ultimate Doors experience.

Lead guitarist Mick Mulhearn said he is looking forward to coming up here and performing.

He said, “It’s like a nice semi working holiday, we might even try get on the water while we’re there.”

Mick also added that he appreciates the crowd that comes to see the band perform, he knows some people travel from Mackay and he gives them his gratitude.

It’s been over 50 years since The Doors released their first album and they are still popular, influential and relevant, their classic tracks will live on forever.
