Whitsunday Swimming Club celebrated a remarkable moment in its history, with two club records shattered at the recent LC Transition Meet — each one breaking marks that had stood for decades.
In the 15 Years Girls 50m Butterfly, Isabella Pisaniello claimed the new club record. Her performance surpassed the long-standing benchmark set by Erin Mealey in 2001, ending a 25-year reign.

Not to be outdone, Hayden Alexander produced his own piece of club history in the 15 Years Boys 100m Breaststroke. Hayden broke N. Kime’s record from 1977, a milestone that had remained untouched for an extraordinary 49 years.
The dual record-breaking achievements added extra excitement to the meet and highlighted the strength of Whitsunday’s developing athletes. With both swimmers rewriting history, the club continues to build momentum and inspire younger members chasingtheir own goals.
A proud day for Whitsunday Swimming Club — and a sign of even bigger things to come.
