The Queensland Government is funding the expansion of a pilot plant that converts biomass from a sugar mill into bioproducts. The QUT Mackay Renewable Biocommodities Pilot Plant (MRBPP) is a research and development facility that converts biomass into biofuels, green chemicals and other bioproducts. Eimeo residents are being advised that the swing set in Sunset Park will be out of action in February.
