To be fair, whilst we are not the only region affected, some of the localised flooding is so predictable it is becoming boring. Surely it is time to apply some simple fixes to Goorganga and Hamilton plains – even if the cost of raising the road is prohibitive – surely some extra culvert drains would make a huge difference in key areas. Let’s not hold our breath.
