Bowen Summergarden Cinema Showings

The heat is picking up and there's nowhere better than the movie screen to escape the heat.

Bowen Summergarden Cinema located on 40 Murroona Street in Bowen has been showing blockbusters to Whitsunday residents since 1948 and its the perfect place to visit to get out of the humid air.

This Halloween weekend Twilight is showing again in cinemas to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first book. In Twilight Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington. There, she meets Edward Cullen, a boy who turns out to be a vampire. As they fall in love, Bella learns more about his secret world and the dangers that come with it, especially when other vampires show up and threaten her life.

Also showing at Bowen Summergarden Cinema is Good Fortune starring Keanu Reeves, this film follows an angel played by Keanu Reeves as he meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker and wealthy venture capitalist.

The Travellers stars Luke Bracey and Bryan Brown and is about a stage designer returning to Australia to say goodbye to his dying mother. A quick trip descends into chaos, drama, and funny moments as he juggles family tension, past lovers, and returning to Europe for an opera contract.

Regretting You is based upon the best-selling author Colleen Hoover's novel of the same name. The film is centered on the strained relationship between young mother Morgan Grant and her teenage daughter Clara, exacerbated by Morgan's husband Chris's tragic death, it forces them to navigate life's challenges together.
