Day-by-Day Guide To The Epic Airlie Beach Lineup

The Airlie Beach Festival of Music is set to be the biggest and most diverse lineup yet. With three full days (plus a welcome party and after party) of world-class acts across 15 iconic venues, the Whitsundays are preparing for a spectacular town-wide music takeover.

From rock legends and chart-topping pop stars to Australia’s finest blues and roots artists, the stage is set for an unforgettable journey of sound.

Kick-Off and Friday Rock Royalty

The party begins on Thursday night at the Magnums Welcome Party, promising a high-energy start with acts like TRILLA, Lucy Gallant, and Viva Band setting the tropical tone late into the night.

Friday at the Main Tent is dedicated to celebrating talent, both emerging and established. The afternoon kicks off with the intense competition of the Passport to Airlie Finalists, culminating with the triumphant return of 2024 winner Tom Neilson. The night escalates rapidly into legendary status with the smooth, sun-drenched sounds of Pete Murray changing seamlessly into the raw, powerful anthems of Australian rock icons, The Screaming Jets, guaranteed to close the first major day with a bang at 10:00pm.

Saturday: Australian Rock & Pop Powerhouses

Saturday is a masterclass in diverse Australian music royalty. The afternoon begins with the grooves of The Natural Culture, perfectly setting the scene for an evening of legendary performers. At 6:00pm, the stage welcomes the unique acoustic mastery of Tex Perkins and Matt Walker.

The tempo elevates significantly when Bachelor Girl takes the stage at 7:30pm to deliver their catalogue of classic hits. The energy continues to build as the incomparable Diesel straps on his guitar at 8:45pm, proving why he remains one of the country's most respected rock musicians. Capping off the night at 10:00pm are the beloved Choirboys, ensuring the Main Tent is shaking until close.

Sunday & Monday Grand Finale

The festival closes on a high on Sunday with a sensational showcase of blues, country, and pop excellence. The afternoon begins with the heartfelt rock of the Dave Flower Band and the powerful country punch of Jayne Denham. Blues aficionados will be treated to the incredible guitar work of Lloyd Spiegel at 4:15pm before the event hits its peak.

The Sunday Main Tent headliners are an unmissable double feature: the electrifying energy and vocal brilliance of Jessica Mauboy at 5:30pm, followed by the legendary rhythm and blues collective, The Black Sorrows, closing out the Main Tent at 7:00pm.

But the music doesn't stop there. The final goodbye is the Monday After Party at Northerlies, where you can unwind to the sounds of Tiffany Grace, Bear Brewer, James Bennett, and a final, must-see set from blues virtuoso Lloyd Spiegel at 5:00pm.

Don't miss your chance to be part of the biggest music holiday in the Whitsundays. Your four-day soundtrack awaits!
