
U11 Boys

The Pitbulls U11 boys faced Walkerston Scrubbies on Saturday. Captain Hector lost the toss, and the visitors chose to bowl first on a dry wicket. Openers Harry and debutant Riley set a strong tone with sharp running before Liam, Jonty, Nick, James, and Lukas added steady contributions. Will and Hector finished in style, lifting the total to 123. Walkerston’s reply met disciplined bowling and sharp fielding, with wickets shared among James, Hector, Jonty, Liam, and Harry. Riley and Will shared the gloves, Will taking two fine catches, while Hector and Lukas added runouts and a screamer. Walkerston finished on 87.
U11 Girls

The Pitbulls in pink faced off against Pioneer Valley in hot conditions. Captain G. Green sent her side in to bowl, with M. Neal continuing her wicket-taking form (2/23 off 4). Debutant C. Goldspink (1/22 off 3) struck in her first over, while A. Quod (1/21 off 3), E. Glindemann (1/19 off 3), and C. Green (1/12 off 2) all contributed wickets. G. Green and E. Brazil maintained pressure with tight lines as Pioneer Valley posted 136.
In reply, openers C. Green (4) and E. Glindemann (1) built a steady start. E. Brazil (1) showed growing confidence, while captain G. Green (7) and A. Quod (4) added valuable runs. Goldspink (3) combined well with rising talent M. Neal (2) to close at 48. The girls continue to show fantastic teamwork and development week after week.
U13 Boys

The U13 Pitbulls travelled to take on Souths. Sent in to field first, the Pitbulls battled a lightning-fast outfield as Souths reached 156/6. Zahra bowled brilliantly (2/10 off 3), while Matty, Ryan, and Coen each claimed a wicket.
In pursuit, the Pitbulls timed their chase well but fell just short — 20 runs shy with four overs to spare. Strong batting from Mitchell (32 off 29), Matty (28* off 35), and Ryan (22 off 27) kept them in the contest. A valiant effort with plenty of positives to take forward.
U14 Boys

The U14 Pitbulls faced Sarina Spartans at Harrup Park. Batting first, Bradley Hetherington’s commanding half-century anchored key partnerships with Cabe, Kobi, and Jaxson, guiding the team to 3/146.
Defending the total, the Pitbulls bowled with control — wickets shared among Lily, Brad, Kobi, Matthew, and Aiden, including a sharp runout to seal the match.
Player of the Match: Bradley Hetherington (50 runs, 3 wickets).
U17 Boys

The U17 Pitbulls met the Magpies at Marian after their scheduled HP1 clash was relocated. Batting first, openers M. Logan (32) and J. Valmadre (54) set a strong platform before English recruit G. Hanson (59*) powered the side to 192 off 25 overs.
In reply, captain M. Gabey (0/12 off 4) and J. Geisler (0/21 off 3) kept the Magpies under pressure. O. Seamer’s devastating spell (5/15 off 5) tore through the top order, supported by Hanson and Valmadre, who wrapped up the innings for a convincing Pitbulls win.
Senior Girls
Kobe Manly and Lily Smith impressed in the opening rounds of the Komatsu Ladies T20 Smash at Harrup Park. Representing the Custom Fluid Mudcrabs and Gibbs Air Crocs respectively, both shone with bat and ball. PJCA is proud of their performances and looks forward to seeing them continue to excel.
