Halloween at Bowen Sports Complex will come with a little rhythm this Saturday, October 31, as Eatz & Beatz brings food, live music and spooky fun to the community.
Running from 4.30pm to 9.30pm, the free event for all invites families and friends to settle in for a relaxed evening outdoors, with a chance to browse market stalls between performances, and come in costume for a chance to win a best-dressed prize.
For the kids that dress up, there will even be a trick or treating aspect to the stalls, so bring a bag to hold your lollies in.
Zed Charles’ Bo’ River Band will provide the live soundtrack, while Bottoms Bingo adds another activity to the evening’s program.
Come hungry, with every food vendor spot already snapped up! Grab dinner and settle in for the music, or take a wander through the local market stalls between bites. Adults can also enjoy a drink from the licensed bar.
For those who enjoy a little friendly rivalry, the Chargers and Dregernauts will take to the cricket pitch at 6pm, giving spectators a match to watch as the evening rolls on, while kids can exhaust their energy with the free jumping castle.
Organisers are reminding everyone to bring camping chairs or picnic rugs, making it easy to gather with friends and stay for the evening.
With five hours of food, shopping and entertainment planned, Bowen has plenty of reasons to dress up and join the festivities this halloween.
