With the weather beginning to warm up, now is the time for growers to focus on fertilising.

Being proactive with your Bio Dunder application means you can better plan and schedule your crop nutrition. It also helps you avoid the rush that often occurs at the peak of the season when demand for fertiliser products is at its highest.

Timing is critical when it comes to crop nutrition. The ideal approach is to follow the harvester with fertiliser applications wherever possible to give your ratoon crop the best start.

But if you can’t, then applying Bio Dunder within 30 days of harvesting can still deliver a good crop.

The key thing is to stay on schedule. Being proactive now can help avoid delays later and ensure crops have access to nutrients when they need them most.

Bio Dunder delivers more than just nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK). Because it’s a renewable product derived from fermented molasses, it contains trace amounts of other nutrients such as calcium and magnesium. It also returns organic carbon back to the soil.

We encourage growers to adopt a ‘test, don’t guess’ approach with soil testing.

Our sales agronomists Drew McGilchrist and Marc Tanizar can conduct soil tests – or review test results from other agronomic firms – to recommend the best Bio Dunder blend for your paddock.
