Did You Know?

The new permanent swimming enclosure at Dingo Beach is now open, welcoming locals and visitors back to one of the Whitsundays' favourite coastal destinations.

Rebuilt after being damaged during Cyclone Kirrily in 2024, the new enclosure was shaped by more than 600 community submissions and provides year-round protection from marine stingers.

The project also pays tribute to Dingo Beach's history, with the original enclosure built by local residents in the 1960s.
